RIEDEL The Wine Glass Company
Based in Austria, the Riedel family has made wine glasses for more than 250 years. Currently, the 11th-generation devotes time and skill to the fine art of crystal wine glasses and elevating the pleasurable experience of drinking wine and spirits. In 1973, Claus Riedel presented in Orvieto, Italy, the world’s first gourmet glass series, with the help of Associazione Italiana Sommeliers. Consisting of 10 different glass sizes, each one created for a specific type of wine, this series has expanded over the decades as wine-making and wine-appreciation evolves.

Constantly researching, developing new glasses that bring out the best in varietal wines, Riedel makes crystal wine glasses with meticulous craftsmanship, and each glass is individually made. Why invest in wine then serve it in the wrong glass? You will not experience wine in all its glory. Riedel makes a significant difference in the perception and success of a wine, and provides the opportunity for true appreciation of wine’s organoleptic properties. Exclusively used in the cooking school in Bologna and at home.
