<< Back to Kitchen Essentials BERNDES
For more than 10 years, some of my favorite pans for cooking are made by Berndes, a German manufacturer of cookware since 1921. Durable and reliable, these pans have good proportion and make cooking convenient. After researching grill pans for one year, finally I found intelligently-designed grill pans, and of course they are made by Berndes. They are vacuum-pressure cast aluminum, non-stick pans, with heat and break-resistant glass lids. Unlike cast-iron grill pans, these pans are easy to lift!
The Berndes grill ridges are up to 3 times higher than other brands, also broader, so more heat is transmitted. This ridge height enables you to grill more than one ingredient in the same pan without mixing flavors. Berndes glass lids help force heat through the ingredient so it cooks faster without burning the surface. Simply turn the lid slightly askew so air circulates and let the grilling begin. Near the end, remove the lid. How many times have you wanted to use a grill pan, but decided against it since the thought of clean-up was so discouraging? As an added benefit, these lids with easy-to-grasp knobs double as the best splatter screens! With its superior non-stick surface, Berndes grill pans are a snap to clean. Manufactured in Germany.
Milestone 11-inch Square Grill Pan with Glass Lid
With its spacious cooking surface that easily grills dinner for 2, think 2 T-bone steaks, 6 lamb chops, several savory sausages, one butterflied chicken or a mound of fresh vegetables. Cooking for one? Make yourself a satisfying steak dinner with all the trimmings, onions, mushrooms, potatoes, all in the same pan.
Milestone Oval Fish Grill Pan with Glass Lid
Fish is so popular as a main dish and now there is an alternative to broiling in the kitchen. Berndes offers a grill pan devoted to cooking filets, whole fish or skewered shrimp. The large oval fish pan has loop handles placed on the sides making it easy to carry. Cook then present in the pan, one-dish meal, one pan clean-up.
It’s simple, it’s Berndes.
