- Modena joins Bologna in having a gracious Historic Center with beautiful palazzos and charming porticoed streets filled with boutique shops and an intriguing fresh food market. We’ll see the masterpiece of Romanesque architecture Il Duomo, dedicated to San Geminiano, and its massive Gothic bell tower, long a symbol of this city. Modena’s most important monument, this cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Concluding our visit to Modena, we’ll enjoy an amazing food-and-wine luncheon at a famous two Michelin-star restaurant with the renowned chef.
